I own a 1987 325 e. It's got 120,000 beautifully earned miles. I keep this car immaculate. Unfortunately, one of the only problems i have been forced to deal with is not the car itself, but the repair shop I take it too. Recently I had my brakes check out at my usual repair shop, but they still squeak. Their times of bussiness are also a problem. I need a repair shop, with a great reputation, which is running as early as I am (around 6:30am). can anyone help?

Not knowing where you are in LA, you might consider contacting Coast Motor Werk in Huntington Beach. Phone number is 714-894-9849. I don't believe that he opens his door at 6:30, but he does have a loaner car that is given to people that come in the night before to drop off the car.

My wife and kids own four BMWs among them, 1980, 1984, 1998 and 2004. While I do a lot of work myself and have pet specialists for automatic transmission, exhaust, etc. the BEST BMW shop experience I've had is with Absolute Automotive Service, (818) 790-7979.
These people are more than competitive in price, give a sizable discount to Auto Club members, and offer a two-year warranty on major work. They were in Pasadena but have moved west, I think to Eagle Rock. Address is 440 Foothill Blvd., off the 210 Freeway.
