there is an 86.5 supra for sale kinda far away. It says that it needs valve shims and a vacuume leak that needs to be fixed. How bad is that. Or if I really want it could I tow it with a dodge dakota sport pickup with a V6 magnum. or should I avoid buying it all togather.

That depends on how badly you want the car. If it is less than $1000. Then go ahead and get it. Drop a fresh turbo motor in and have fun.

well, i do really want it, but I do really need a car to drive. He says it has under 6k miles on the engine and the body looks pretty good, I can get it for 2000. its an Ebay auction. I only have like 2000 bucks for a car anyway.

it is a n/a right? they started the turbo ones in 87 right? If you want it for power, it is probly not the best, but i bet you can make a n/a supra faster than a n/a civic or one of thoes gay n/a neon's.

Id say hold out until you find something closer. Its always a good idea to be able to look at the car your about to buy, make sure it drives and idles good and all.

I would think an n/a supra would eat any n/a civic in my area.

The supra is definitely one of the faster N/A type cars Ive driven. Seems more suited for hitting 140 on the freeway, save up for a turbo if you want a 1/4 mile killer.
