SHO ATX problems

my 94 sho when shifting into reverse it seems it stays in park and when giving it throttle it revs then seems like the clutches catch and stalls the car out, and just recently for some ungodly reason it will not shift out of 2nd gear, this thing id really startin to urk my tater, any ideas?

well i think i know whats wrong with it, i beleive its the planetary so in that case any idea where i can get a used transmission thats in good shape, every one of these cars have had the piss beat out of them, so i'd like one with low mileage if possible, if any one knows of one let me know please
