On the way home fromwork tonight...I'm crusing along, and I hit a red, with a beat aerostar next to me. Well, light turns green, and he rallys hard...so I just go  and gun it a lil to pass him...well, as I do so, he floors it, pullingon me...so I decide enough is enough and drop the hammer dusting him. Well, He decides he wants to make the same turn I'm going to, so he pulls infront of me and smokes the tires...I gotta say, that was the highlight of my night, watching an aerostar smokeem
If the driver of that aerostar comes here I'd give him a thumbs up :bandit:

actually, crystler made a 2.2 turbo one, which would commonly smoke most who would take it on.
Also certain astrovans can have a 350 droped right in, mount directly to the tranny, easy drop in. Now thats one hell of a way to make ricers feel small :hehehe:

Well, considering an aero is twice the size of most imports ya don't really need the engine to make em feel small :)
Oh yeah, and believe it or not it is quite possible to drift a minivan. It's not a very safe thing(or stable for that matter) but it can be done. Kinda fun for watching teh faces of a couple of guys driving ricey civics when they get taken on a corner by a minivan :)

Olds Silhouette 3800 engine is awesome. Too bad its front wheel drive or you could really launch, eitherway it is still fast as hell.
My friend was driving it and I was following him on my bike, crazy fucker hand braked around a turn while smoking the front wheels. Craziest thing I have seen in a long time.

Yeah my had one of those. He wouldn't have it any other way, but I was so much fun to smoke people in that thing, what a sleeper. Take a look at this, poor camero.

man i wish my minivan had some power....
My friend installed some grounds in his WRX, and says it helps your car run smoother by giving the ECU less work. Is this true? and any ideas what i can do to give more power? my van is RWD, so it launches pretty decently. My friend's base RSX couldn't catch me untill he shifted to 2nd gear.:D

Hahahaha!!! I remember that! The reason I was able to do it was that I was VERY familiar with the van. Don't try hopping in & just srifting 'cause you'll roll it.

reason why it'll fit in just right is because! anybody know?
bet you didnt.
the 4.3l Vortec V6 is known as the 3/4 350 why? it has the same bore and stroke as the V8 just minus the... 1 and 6 cylinders (valve train reasons) with that said, it has the same fly wheel as a V8 thus it bolts up to any V8 transmission and thats why you can put a 350 into a Astro and it'll bolt up perfectly (minus some engine mount mods).
I once saw a video of a Plymouth Grand Voyager which was stripped and carried a Blown Hemi in the rear (where the brat kids used to sit) at the track, and it did a decent as hell run blew away the car it was racing (cant recall the other car) in the video you can here the kids yelling "gooo dad gooo!!!" funniest thing ever...
i just realised i know too much about the 4.3l V6... I need a girlfriend hahahah

a friend of mine, his mom has an MPV and he took it out for a spin and i mean a spin ... he tried to drift it around a corner and he ended up tipping it on its side.. i mean it just like leaned over on its side. It was the funniest thing in the world. But then again it was his parents car.
Thank God for Mechanics
