If i put a d16z6 in my 95 civic cx, will the engine run with all the 95 wiring and all that, cuz i dont got the money to get the wiring done for vtec, and my headgasket went and i really dont think its worth fixing since the engine has 600,000 k/m on it.

You'll be throwing codes for vtec if you don't wire it up. You should just wire it up, it's only 3 wires (one of which is a ground wire); it shouldn't cost much to do.

but it will be drivable untill i can get someone to wire the vtec up, without it wired up i wont be reving over 3500 rpm anyway

i dunno but if i put an engine in it, it is gonna be a 1.6 l i can possibly get the engine and computer, but i might just go buy another one
