When I disconnect my battery to do maintenance on the electrical system or on my system, when the battery is reconnected I have problems with low RPM. When I reconnect the battery everything seems ok. I know that when you disconnect your battery, your throttle positioning snesor resets itself and it t akes a little driving before the RPMs are what they should normally be. It has happened to me a few times and each time the car stalls at lights because the TPS wasnt finished resetting itself. That isnt the problem. THe problem is that just reciently, it has taken a lot of driving to get it to reset. The last time it did it to me, it took me an hour and a half of driving before it stopped stalling at stops. Is this normal? or is there some problem with my TPS?

When your battery is disconected for more than 15 minutes your ECU is cleared. So any adjustment to timing curves and the like are cleared with it and yes it could take up to an hour or so to get all those adjustments back. I'm not saying that this is your problem but it could be a possibility. When was the last time you did plugs and wires???
