`67 SS396 Prostreet Chevelle

This is the model that has kicked off my modelling spirit after being stuck in rutt for over 12 months. Not alot of photos for now but its got a half chassis graft from the AMT prostreet Superbee. paint is gloss black with a good amount of pearl clear, letting the body cure and rest for a week or so before polishing. Engine is the stock 396 with 6/71 and twin 650 carbs with a bug catcher. Interior will be a combo of blacks with silver highlights. All comments and criticism is welcome because the more I get the more motivation I'll have to continue modelling. My 600SEL AMG Benz will be next.

Mmmm, she looks pretty nice! Welcome back to the hobby! Did you put a regular clear coat over the pearl? The bits in metallic finishes will scrathch the rest of the finish when you polish it, resulting in a not-so-shiny end result. I'd hate to see that happen to this beauty...

Thanks for the feedback, it just has pearl clear over it but I'm really not fussed with the paintwork, aside from helping to prevent rust on a real car I find paint useless. I'll put some more photos up of the interior in a few days when it's done.
