Panoz Esperante GTLMs racing in 2006

Three Panoz Esperante GTLMs will race in the 54th annual 12 Hours of Sebring in less than two weeks from now. They will race in the GT2 class.

Team LNT will race one Esperante GTLM at Sebring and two in the Le Mans Series in Europe and the FIA GT's 24 Hours of Spa.

Team LNT will have one Panoz at the 74th annual 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

One of Team LNT's cars finished 3rd in GT2 at the 1,000 km of Istanbul one month ago. The race was shortened to around four hours due to the fact that 8,000 litres of fuel was not there due to a miscalculation.

Le Mans Test Day

Team LNT's # 81 Esperante GTLM had an engine failure at the start of the morning session, but the engine was changed and took to the track in the afternoon session.

The official website for the 24 Hours of Le Mans says that Gunnar Jeannette had a lap time of 4 minutes, 6.844 seconds, but Multimatic says that was the time for Scott Maxwell.
