Dakota recalls

Hey guys can someone with accsess to the dia- crysler website check for balljoint or any other recalls for a buddy of mine? I am usually over on the silverado forum but i am helping someone out who cant get to the internet right now/ The truck is a 2000 dakota 4x4 and the vin is 1B7GG26XXYS724496. any help would be appreciated. I have a 2000 Dak 4x4 and it's covered under the recall for the upper ball joints. Didn't your buddy get a letter in the mail regarding the recall??

It covers 2000-2003 4x4 Dakotas and Durangos for the recall
2000-2003 2wd Dakotas and Durangos have a secret warranty 10yrs or 100,000miles for the ball joints

You better take a trip to your nearest dealer. Chrysler has offered extended warrantee on these vehicles but it is V.I.N specific , you need the current odometer reading and the owners name.
