Changing a supercharger tensioner

First timer to the forum, and it's already been helpful.
I have a 1997 Grand Prix GTP with 3.4" pulley. I have about 184k miles on it. I have been hearing a squeeling sound when the car is idleing and also after I go into overdrive. My mechanic said that it was the tensioner pulley for the supercharger. I watched the belt at idle and I noticed that the tensioner was vibrating a little.
I have few questions:
1) Do you agree that this is probably causing the squeeling?
2) How difficult would it be to change the s/c tensioner? If not, what would be the steps involved?

It could be the problem. Take the supercharger belt off and spin the ten. pulley by itself. Does it spin freely or does it catch. I think its a reverse threaded bolt.
Pulley should only run ya about 20 bux

What's the easiest way to get that belt off?

To remove the SC belt, tension is released by turning the 15mm nut on the idler pulley counterclockwise.

Thanks. One more quick question. Is there a difference between the actually tensioner pulley and the tensioner assembly? If so, what part number should I be looking for?
