I need Help!!!!!

I am trying to hook up a set of infinity kappa 6.5's to an alpine mrp-t220 amp. I have everthing hooked up and powered but it still sounds like garbage. I am just wondering if there is a special way to wire it up correctly or am i just missing somthing?

Without knowing exactly how you wired it, it could be anyone's guess.
Are you using the stock stereo?
If so, does it come equipped with the low-pass RCA outputs? If not, you'll need to run some low-pass converters to drop the output going into the amp from the head unit.
Are you running heavy enough power wires and do you have a solid grounding point?
The size of your speaker wire will also affect things to some degree, heavier is better.
There will also likely be some fine-tuning features located on the body of the amp to correct final output and sound quality.
