What you guys think about this...

I'm thinking about buyin this for my GP
Anybody think its a good idea???
I don't race or nothin, I just like having fun at the traffic lights sometimes...(you know spin your wheels a lil bit)
Just thought I'd ask you guys' opinion see if its worth it.
Also I have a question about the Grand Am GT w/ ram air
a guy where I used to work at had one and his speedometer reached 150...
I seriously doubt that car can reach even 140...anybody know the speed limiter on those things?? is is 108 like the GP GT's or 123??

maybe someone else will chime in but for my money i would stick to the things that really make your car go faster, not something that tricks the car into believing you are increasing your throttle. shoot, for a couple more bucks you can get an entire reprogrammed pcm from dhp or intense and that is a much better investment.

Well from what I read on it, it will not make you spin tires more. It is designed to increase the voltage from the tps sensor to max to maintain the flow of fuel. It helps when the fuel flow flattens out at wide open throttle. It does not kick in until you hit 70% of WOT. It seems to be an addon after you do most of the other mods available and that is probably when you would notice any change. Then the only change would be in the upper gears close to toppish speeds of the car. I also would reccomend a reprogrammed pcm and any other mod out there before that one.

I agree with Jimmy and gprixgtp that your money would be better spent elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of anything that "tricks" the PCM on a daily driver/street driven car.

Yeah I was thinkin about adding that reprogrammed PCM...but I got a question...and its kind of dumb but why do u have to use premium fuel when u upgrade to the PCM???? Will u get knocking if U don't use premium??

Grand Am does have 150MPH speedo, and it will not go past 130. Ram air has 177 hp at the crank. I didn't really get why you just want to spin tires at stop lights, but a cheap way to tire spinning is mounting donut tires on your drive wheels. You will spin tires like crazy in no time :smile:
