Well, I got a few questions.
1) What gives more "bump", say, 2 strong 12" subs and a decent amplifier, or a strong amp and 2 decent 12" subs.
2) Say I got 2 Alpine Type R's, what kind of amp(s) should I get. How many watts, ohms, etc?
3)Anyone know of a good site to learn about car audio?
Danks.

my opinion is try to run the same brand example if you have alpine subs run a alpine amp. reason is that when they manufacture there subs they design then to run off a alpine amp that was design for those subs. the subs you have are very good but im sure the alpine amp for those subs are costly. so that is something to look into when you choose subs. i personally like audiobahn there fair priced and give you the best bang for the buck, and ther chrome. also choose the rightr box. if you want loud go w/ a bandpass, it louder but muffled. seal if you want clarity.
