hi everyone.
92 tracel that we drive 170 miles every day, we took the car to have the battary changed and when the new 1 was installed (670 cc) the car dont start ,dont crank,no lights(brake signals, dash etc) other then the head lights.
we were able to start it by pushing it but again you turn it off and u cant start. the car was driving fine all day (150 miles).
any ideas where to start other then fuse box?
thank you.
ron.
the car was like a champ before that.

the fuse box, there is one under the dash, and should be one under the hood also.

i add the same problem with my 91dx
start by checking the batry, even if it is new dosent mean it is charge
the voltage shude be 13.5 volts the minimum i add that started my tercel was 12volts,, also ensure you have a 550 ca battry,
if the batry is at a nice charge,, you ligth shud come on as well as the stereo and other stuff,
if all lock fine at this point ensure your starter is getting power,, just unscrew the lead from it and test for voltage,,,
there is mutch more i add to do on mine to find out what was the main issue ,, but start with this and let me know

I suspect your ignition switch because where does all the power go through? So try jiggling the key and see if anything changes.
Also the battery like Terock says, BUt the minimum of a battery is like 12.4 NOT 13.5. Ifthe battery and engine not on it is 12.4 bare minimum, and id be surprised if the car would even start. It should be closer to 12.8 and with engine idling, 14.0V.
