spindle nuts - change every time?

Do you have to buy new spindle nuts every time you take the old ones off?

Do you have to buy new spindle nuts every time you take the old ones off?
I never have. Usually if you buy replacement half shafts, they come with new spindle nuts. The other thing I've never replaced (that you're supposed to) is the little retainer clip at the inboard end of the half shaft. I've never had one come out of the transaxle because of it.
