04 Quest Navigation question?

I just got a 04 QUEST with a Navigation system in it and all works well with it when I use the quick stop feature but when I go to insert the address of a place I am trying to go it comes up with it only brings up the other owners addresses that where input. I did the clear reset botton and all is erased out of the address book but it still brings up the addresses that i dont want. Does anyone know how to do a complete reset to bring this back like it was new with nothing in the memory? Thanks Also this van has the running boards and i believe there sopposed to light up but mine do not there is a white stripe in them though. Is there a fuse somewhere that could be out or are these things known to fail after a while?

On the Navigation system, it took me a while to figure out that you can't input any new addresses while the vehicle is moving. The vehicle must be completely stopped to put in a new address.
