Truck Bogging Down

My truck seems to be bogging down. When I take off and at low speeds it is fine. But when I get to higher speeds my truck seems to be bogging down, it won't accelerate as fast as it should. It seems like my truck is not getting enough fuel into the engine. I was told that my fuel filter is clogged, could this be the problem. If not what else could it be.
The truck is a 1995 Chevrolet K1500 with a V8 5.7L engine

it sounds like fuel pressure problems .Is that a throtle body with two injectors,if it is then thepressure it should be about 13 psi, replace your fuel filter and see what happen.for sure you need to check the fuel pressure
