Found the misfire.
It was a HUGE problem.
Pushrods = Too long. :banghead:
Idle is set at 1150 RPM's. WAY too high. When I get a chance...I will drop it to about 1000 RPM's.

Whoops....I was hanging the valves using the pushrods on the right....
Bet that created a problem.

Swapped the entire motor. :grinyes:
Old Lunati = 226/234 554/575 112
New TSP = 248/254 629/622 113
Exhaust is 3" true duals with a 4" X-pipe. Tight in some places so not fully mandrel bent. Had to fit it through the torque arm. No cats. Billet mufflers are the rear. They tend to flow as good as any.

Drove it somewhat hard today.
I REALLY want to take it to 6600.
It honestly felt faster going to 4500 RPM's as the old motor did going to 6200.
Can't wait to see how it feels above 4500....

Is she broken in yet or is that why your hesitant to hit the 6000 mark?

She only has about 50 miles total on her.
Needs a couple minor things yet...and more miles before completely opening her up.

I heard a 1200hp late 60s early 70s looking Vette that sounds exaclty like that. Holy crap. I would shite my pants if I heard that thing coming.
How much hp do you think you have? Not exactly sure how to read the specs you posted in #7. What the type of motor is it again, a TSP???? How many engines have you had in that thing, lol?
I know alot of general facts about cars, but not so much on aftermarket engines and such.

Looking for about 500 RWHP with it.
TSP = Texas Speed and Performance (the shop that built it)
This is the first motor other than the stock LS1.
This motor is an iron blocked 402 cubic inch stroker. Still all LS1 parts...but in an iron block and all forged.
Heads are Stage 3 LS6 heads.
Cam is large. :icon16:

Very cool, I guess you have a lot more "solid" engine to work with that way it sounds like!
