Hey Everyone!
I have a question. I have a 94 Z-28 with the Delco/Bose CD system. My cd player has always taken the cd in and never played the cd and would not eject the cd. I replaced the stereo with the same exact stereo and now the problem is that the cd go's in, spins the cd and then ejects it.
Does any one here have any suggestion???

are the cd's burned one? some times the cd player don't read burnt ones, and if they are mp3 songs on the cd it will not work sometimes.

You're right 97cav, if you're trying to play mp3's or wmv's I seriously doubt that a 94 factory stero will read them. I would think that would explain it spitting it out.

You should have tried using an aftermarket CD player instead...much cheaper than replacing a stock player, and usually work better too...in some cases, even a cheap player will outperform a stock player. Sad, but often true.

I can help on this one. I have a 94 camaro with the delco bose system 2. There are 2 ways to do this. first, the one i recommend, is get a new head unit. After that, you will have to bypass the factory amps in the speakers to play cds. you do this by taking off the door panels, and pull out the speakers. each speaker has its on individual amp. you will have to cut all the wires from the amp, and then touch the wires to the speakers there are like 6 wires going to the amp, and 2 going to the speakers. try a combination of the wires with your cd player on, and see which combination sounds best, and make sure your spaeker isnt sucking in as well. you will have to do the same thing to the rear sub-speaker. the amp is located in the plastic box the speaker is mounted to. this amp has like 7 wires into it. just like the others, find the combination that sounds the best. This worked with mine, but i recommend that you amp all of the speakers. It sounds a little louder.good luck
