I need to repair some rust just below the barn door window. Looks like removing the window is the only way to get it done. I removed the interior trim and it looks lke a couple electrical plugs connect the defroster. That's easier than I expected. But I'm not sure about physically removing the window. It looks like the window is just hanging on the door, but secured with some sort of cement that is not visable, except on the inside lower edge. There is no soft rubber molding to remove. Is this a piano wire job? Can anyone tell me how to remove the window and what materials I'll need to reinstall it. Thanks

Thats a tough one bro, i would say your safest bet would be to just call a glass shop and ask them how they do it. I THINK the windows are held in with the same kind of rubber cement they used to use to keep your rear view mirror on the glass, its not the greatest but it didnt leak as much as the crappy molding they used to put on there. Don't know if that helps.
