don't recall seeing this here before.
been having some paint problems as well as general time issues so i decided to put this one together just to get something started and finished.
not quite finished yet as i've still got to fabroicate some light/lens as the kit had lost the clear parts tree when i got to it.
anyway.
airfix boomerang, curbside (motorised).
not a very accurate interior, no under chassis detail to speak of, not much work needed.....
light gun metal, TS 13 top.

finally something new to go in the "other italian cars" meet thread when this gets the final touches.

Very nice saw one of those down my LHS a few years ago, alas I was only about 12 and didn't have the money to buy one. Just a quyick quetsion, is the body a bit warped or is that just the photo?

the body isn't perfectly line sharp but it isn't really warped.
if you're talking about the first pic, then i'd have to say it's the angle of the shot...
if you look at the last shot taken down the side of the car, you'll see that at the point near the base of the A pillar, several different planes meet. This makes taking photos a pain because the slightest deviation makes the whole thing look askew. My not very good macro mode on the digital doesn't help as it has a slight fish eye effect to it.
the plastic is kinda weird; rather soft almost like hardened but not set putty. Flexes very easily and the bonnet of the car actuall concaves in slightly, making the reflections not as sharp as they should be. it's polished to the point that you can get a perfect reflection of text next to it, but any reflection from "proper" distances gets warped.... (honest...)
more pics when i get it finished.

That's and odd-looking car, but you've done a nice job bringing it up to spec! Best of luck doing the head/taillight lenses.

while i'm in a posting mood, here's another Maser of mine and possibly another AF first.
done ages ago, Airfix again: Marek SS, without the rear wing.
again, it's a motorised/curbside kit with very simplifed interior but pretty well molded dash.
tempted to strip the not too good paint job, get rid of the rear engine lid ducts and get rid of that front spoiler as it really does spoil the looks....
it's also crying out for some bare metal foil trim and proper wipers.
