Alright here's the deal guys I would like some suggestions on a Head Unit, Speakers, and Amp for me.
As far as the Headunit I'm willing to spend around $200 or so.
Speakers I will be replacing my two stock 4x6 speakers, however I will be buying adapter plates for 6 1/2". Also someone did the adapter 6 1/2" adapter plates and had an issue with the speakers he got because of the depth of them so if that is even possible to take into consideration when making a reccomendation please do.
I'm willing to spend around $200 or so for the pair
The new amp will be used to power the front end willing to pay $150 for it.
Oh and the type of music I want and clarity:
Rock 97% of my music (from classical to metal)
3% other stuff
Clarity: It's pretty important to me but I also need it loud so a balance between the two would be best for me
I'm pretty clueless as far as the audio department goes so any input at all would be great, and thanks in advanced for the help.

headunit, i would say Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse (i personally have an alpine that i love)
spearkes, do you want component or coax? components have seperate tweeter and midbass where coax is all together. coaxes are cheaper, but you get better sound with components, for the most part. if you have around 200 for speakers i would say forget about coax and look at only components. Eclipse, maybe higher end Alpine, some people like JL Audio, CDT Audio, focal (maybe depending on prices)
as far as an amp. figure out what kind of speaker you want first, then look for an amp that will power the speakers nicely. i guess you could find your amp first then look for speakers, but that seems sort of weird (at least to me). as far as brands go, alpine, kenwood (maybe), JBL. you may be hard pressed to find some amps for your budget. it all depends on how much power and everything htough, so keep that in mind.
