1991 rs305 v8camaro will bearly run

i have a problem with my camaro it turns over and will crank but it will barely stay running cant figure out what is wrong with it it sounds like it is starving for gas if you hold the pedal to the floor it dies so if you could hel me figure it out i would be very thankful

well check to see if it is getting fuel, and go from there. Sounds like a fuel pump, ho wmanny miles are on it?

its getting fuel but it looks like its not getting enough

Is this a TBI? doesn't really matter, but when was the last time the filter was replaced?

have your throttle body rebuilt, tuned, and sealed.

take your throttle body to get rebuilt and have the injectors cleaned.

Why wouldnt you just buy a new one?

a brand new one would cost too much, unless you wanted to hit a pick n pull and find one, but you wouldn't know for sure how great those injectors are either.

Check to make sure it's getting all the ingredients for a happy engine before you go having anything extensive done like fiddlin' with the T.B. and injectors. Make sure the engine has: 1.) Fuel, 2.) Spark, 3.) Air, 4.) Compression. If it has all 4 then start checking the power of the spark and the amount of fuel the engine is getting then you can start looking to do things like mentioned above.

Why hasnt anyone recommended that he check the codes yet?!? If there is anything there then it would give him a good place to start...
Check your trouble codes...you never know what you might find.
