2.2liter question!

Ok, I know this is a little weird but, Im wondering, does the 2.2 cavalier and sunfire engine match the same engine as the s10 2.2 liter? if so, im wondering if u could use the same performance parts...etc..anyone?"?????

wish i knew the answer to that question man. i would assume that they are different but you never know.

that depends is the s10 front or rear wheel drive?

the s10 engine is a vortec engine, you know you could just look this up on chevy.com

that may very well be true sol. secondly not all s10s were votech engines, not untill the year the first vortech engine came out was the s10 ever a vortech, as a matter of fact i dont belive even to this day that all s10's are vortech equiped. i do know that some are mainly the V6 models but as for most il4cyl werent.

I was basing my info off of chevy.com, it seems that all of this years models will be vortec, I4 or V6.
