Is there any way to swap my auto into manual transmission on my civic LX. I kind of want it to be a sleeper. I also want to know if there were any Integra Type R engines that will fit into my Civic. I want to beat this one dude who talks trash about how he will beat me in his Eagle Talon.

Not integra motor... You need a RSX type S motor. It comes with 6 speed manual tranny. You are talking +$6000 swap... Be realistic. Unless you have tons of money to blow, leave the car alone. The dude talks shit to you is a dumb "ARSE" anyways. Let him talk.

Yes first dont double post your question. Second read up on how your car works. You will not make it into a sleeper. A K swap is your only best bet for speed but like said above it will cost a few grand and is not worth it. A turbo will also not do jack for the car and will run upwards of 3 grand. Beef up what you can internally and juice the shit outta it. You still wont beat that Talon :icon16:

Get an older Honda or Nissan if you want to budget mod. With at 92-00 Civic you can drop a B-series in there for 1000-2500 probably, depending on how much you can do yourself and how resorcefull you are, and do pretty well. Plus the older usdm or jdm B-series are esier to turbo as I understand. If you really wanna budget mod and smoke his pants off: get a CRX, buy a 900 dollar B16a, put a used Eclipse turbo on it ( there is an article somewhere on it, I was reading it the other day) and and beat the guy with his own parts. An H22 in a Civic will also probably keep up with a stock TSi, and school a ESi. 7th gen coupes and sedans are great cars, however by what I have seen they aren't the best tuner for the buck. Just my :2cents:

Good luck man. Seriously look into and older honda though, and don't be so focused on smack-talkers... their morons, and always will be.
