DRL-Day Time running Light lights keeps flashing..

On my 95 cavalier 2.2, I have a green light that flashes fast when I first start the car--maybe this is the code its telling me but don't know--am I correct? Also, it flashes as fast as the seatbelt red light warning light does as it first starts up--is this a code warning light? The car runs okay but the day time lights have never worked on the car since I have owned it. Should they be on during the day on a 95 cavy? [Hey-it passed inspection so I'm not worried about it!!]Thanks for the help!!!

yea they will flash and the your service light will come on

that depends.... if you let it get to the point were you have only one highbeam (and thats it, no low beams) it will flash continuosly (sp)
but i fixed my problem last night. DONT RUN TO HIGH WATTAGE BULBS IN THESE CARS!!!!!!! the sockets will burn up, even if you buy the ones made for high wattage bulbs.
