i also love this car. It's amazingly sweet. All of cadillac's new vehicles are awesome. The Escalade, CTS, XLR. But my favorite is going to have to be the Cien(due out in 2004). With a sleek and sexy design, not to mention a V-Tech V12, who can beat that?

Let me know how you like that 6 speed shifter. I haven't had a chance yet to test drive one because the weenie dealership in my area hasn't ordered any with a stick UGGGH!
It is a very interesting car. For those Cadillac fans out there, look at pictures of Cadillacs from about 1964 - 1970 and tell me how many abstract/retro styling cues you see.
Cadillac is doing a great job of re-inventing itself. I just wish they could come up with better names than initials and other consonants.

Well- firstly I think ti is ugly- it is a love it/hate it affair with the styling- I hate it.
I'm sure the interiior is extremely comfortable and well-equipped- but it would be more a passengers car than a drivers car- unlike the 3-series and G35.
So really I think I'd have a C-Class, 9-3, S60, Acura CL, G35, 156, 3-series and X-Type before I had a CTS.
Good effort on Cadillacs part though.

Was out droping off my pager to the next super that was scheduled to carry it. Its part of my job. She commented, "is that your new car?" ya, it cost me my joint savings account but I love it . "Thats nice" Thank you. Go right from there to gas up. Fed Ex man says, "wow nice car" I say thank you. 'What kind is it?" Obviously he did not see the Cadillac logo. I say its the new CTS, cadillac touring sedan. He says, "that is one of the best looking cars I've seen." I say, once again, thank you.
As in the spirit of the sixties, when caddy put the Big Fins on their product and it was avant garde, cadillac is once again, after 40 years, setting the benchmark. Sort of poetic justice, in a romantic way, that the man who founded cadillac was to have the City of Detroit named after him. Ladies and gentlemen, in my view, many more individuals are going to fall in love with this stealth styling and, as did the tail fins, will become a part of the automotive styling culture. Angie

Sorry, but the Cien isn't making it to production. I know, I felt like MAD when I heard that. All that car is was a birthday present to show off what Cadillac can do. Cadillac says, "Of all our concept models, this is the one least likely to make it to production." sucks right. If this would goto production, this would be my absolutly most favorite car! :flash:

I don't really like this car, Im afraid. Not do I really like the exterior styling, it's ok- don't get me wrong, but I don't feel that its as good looking as cars as the A6, 9-5, etc.. But thats my opinion.. Neither do I like the interior very much, looks boring. So I'd take either the A6 or 9-5 instead.. Love the Caddy concept cars though.. too bad they won't make it into production!

I do like it, but don't fancy my chances of getting one in New Zealand, yet alone RHD.
So a 3 series it is, I guess.

I THINK THE CIEN IS B.A. AND CADILLACS ARE NOT FOR OLD PEOPLE YOUR RIGHT THEIR FOR ELITE PEOPLE WHO EXPECT LUXURY AND PERFORMANCE.

ok first and formost, I really dislike the new Cadillac vehicles, I own a 1991 Cadillac Sedan Deville, a beautiful vehicle, back when Cadillac still had class, second of all, I wouldn't say Cadillac is setting a benchmark, I think a more appropriate description is going with what the people want (European/sporty luxury) something I never did quite get, a smart move for business yes, but not very respectable in the terms of originality, and finally, the new Cadillac vehicles have turned me into a Chrysler enthusiast, how Cadillac had basically stopped making classy vehicles, and went more towards those horrid SUV's and such, but then you see Chrysler come out with the new 300's I was very impressed, how they went away from what the yuppy masses where hoarding to and brought back the American luxury car, a very respectable move indeed, so in reply to the question, I don't like new CTS.
