Dead in Park

My 96 Max is dead in my garage. When I turn the key I get nothing but the battery is fine (lights, etc.) The auto trans. is locked in Park, I cannot shift it without starting the engine. How am I going to get it towed?

ya dont have to have the car turned on to put it into gear. jus turn the key to on and press in the brake, it should let u shift it into gear

Yo bro. I had the same shifting probs like 6 months ago. Take the cover where the shifter is and there suppose to be a small trigger. Its pro-ly stuck just like mine was. U have to play with it and then u'll be able to shift normally. Laterz
