Ok well I have a 2000 4WD 2dr and I am not happy with the ride height.

I want to lower it or put 18s on it. Now here inlies my problem.

If I do lower it I do not want to slam it. I just want to clean up the wheel well gap. Any kits out there that anyone either has or knows about that wont make me use an air bag setup?

Also if I do decide just to put the rims on and not drop it I think 18s is as big as I would want to go. Is there (will there be)any problem with fender rub?

Some insight would be great.

You might not get much help here. Most think lowering a 4x4 is pointless. Do a little searching and you'll find what others have posted.

I dont really want to lower it. I live in IL so that would be pointless for the winter. I just would like to clear up the gaps all around.

Seems like just putting bigger tires on it would fill in the gaps. Of coure i could be wrong.

See thats what I really dont want to do. I like the lowered look. Even with the 4WD as crazy as it may sound. I like the look of the xtreme Blazers. I REALLY dont like the 15 in rims which is why I am leaning towards a set of 18s but nothing higher then that. Anything higher than an 18 on almost any vehicle looks like wagon wheels, with a few exceptions of course.
