93 sonoma fuel trouble

It just shut off going down the road. The fuel pump is not cutting in. I put another source of power to the fuel pump and the pump started pumping but the truck won't start. I put gas down the trottle body and it runs on the prime but that's it. What do you guys think I should try to get this truck going. Thanks

If it were the relay , should it have started when I used the external 12 volt supply to power up the pump. I took off the filter and made sure that the fuel was passing through it. It's a 4.3 engine.

What exactly is this forum for.. You'd get more info from a deaf mute.

To me, it sounds like the fuel pump is bad. The diaphram inside may have stopped working properly even though the pump is on........
