I like em, they fit me like a glove and I never have a problem finding the damn thing...although if the return goes on the rollers, they can bite your door panels....I dont know how they hold up in a crash, but if they break, your car is already toast...as are you. I really like em just because it makes it a little bit different than most other cars as well, but thats just me...

I like them on the pillar. Lighter doors and IMO cleaner door panel look :) As far as fit/comfort, I don't really notice a difference. I prefer both setups over newer automated shoulder belts(They always mess up/hit the sun visor).

I like my heavy door, even if its just mounting hardware, Id like something between me and a bumper...although I bought a 4g civic, so I negated real safety from the start....although Ive seen them hit freeway guardrails headon and walk away...

Yeah I started out with 4G4D as my first car also and negated safety too. I've taken out my driverside seatbelt assembly, and i cut off the little.. seatbelt-hanger-thing at the top back of the door. Because I got a sparco seat and 4pt harness. Its much easier to take turns, my stock driver seat had no lateral support since it was 300thou commuter before i got it. Turns SUCKED, pretty much hanging on with steering wheel and shifter LOL. So I wouldnt say I didnt like the door-seatbelts, but that it didnt fit for what i wanted, I like being firmly planted in my seat in a little sacrifice of comfort.
