Overdrive Problems? (90 4Runner)

I need some suggestions, ideas, etc. :)

My truck is flashing the O/D light most of the time it is in O/D. It doesn't flash when it's not in O/D. And then more often than not, it's sluggish to start out, not engine but tranny. So, lately I have been taking it from a stop in 1st, 2nd, then drive. (it's an automatic). But, don't have to do this all the time.

If anyone has any ideas what this could be, might be. Or if you have had the same situation w/your similar year 4runner. Please respond. I am on the verge of selling it due to frustration. I just replaced the relay box for the back tailgate window and now the passenger window won't go up or down.

When was the last time you changed the transmission fluid?

I own a 1994 that has the same issues I'll take all the help I can get. Thought it might be the TPS put seems to check out good. Had some advice that maybe one of the six selinoids in the trany could be bad but no way of telling which one will have to replace all six @ 6 X $65 HELP!!!!
PS: Yes I have changed the fluid and filter with no change.
