Just found out that my '06 Wrangler has an automatic hydraulic cluth and that there are no adjustments for it. If you have a clutch of this type can you tell me where your clutch releases. Mine releases at the very top. Dealership told me it is normal but it just seems odd.

As far as I know there is no adjustment for the hydraulic clutch. Generally, if you have trouble with the clutch disengaging at the bottom of pedal travel, its a hydraulic problem. If it doesnt seem to engage at the top of the pedal travel, its a clutch disc or pressure plate problem.
The only hydraulic clutch I have at the moment is in a 95 Wrangler. It's done the same thing you describe since I put a new clutch in a couple years ago. Hydraulic clutches arent new. Theyve been around for many years, probably 20 or so. Most people dont even realize they have one, that puts you a step ahead of most.

I have an 01' wrangler and I have actually been thinking about asking that same question, it seems like it engages too close to the top, I didn't think this was good but I am glad this is normal.
