I'm not 100% positive, but I believe it was in 1994. My 1994 has the turbo 6.5 in it, and I think the 93's still had the 6.2

Ki Ora ( gidday mate and matesses) to all forum members from NZ downunder. Can anyone tell me what the rev range is for a 6.2 chevy diesel?( ie what do they factory red line at) I have one in my trailer boat. It maxes out at about 3000 so we cruise at about 2600. I'm wondering if these figures should be higher, which can be simply achieved by adjusting the prop pitch etc. Also can anyone tell me what the HP rating is on these engines and is there a simple way of increasing this?

Any info' most welcome
With thanks

Graeme (gr8day)

1992 was the first year for the 6.5
1993 was the last year for the 6.2
