I have a 1980 Z28 with a 70 model 350. It has a Pro Stock cam with .224 intake/exhaust @.050 lift, Edelbrock Performer, K&N Filter, Dynomax Headers with 1 5/8 primaries, purple hornies glasspacks, and I just received a rebuilt set of 291 double humps with the 1.94 and 1.50 valves. What would your guesses be on the hp and tq numbers? I am getting ready to take it to the dyno in a couple of weeks so come back and see if your right!

Size carb?
Igntion system?
Rest of the exhaust? (I think you might be dissapointed with those 1 5/8 for the over all perforamance)

Oh yeah, the glasspacks have the 3 bolt header flange with 3 inch inlet and a pair of 2 1/4 turndowns.

I'm a little late on this but I'd say somwhere between 300-320 rwhp.

not late at all, and a little generous. I'd put around 275h/325tq.

It might be a bit generous, but it's hard to tell without complete cam specs.
I still think he'll make closer to 300 whp though.

Without knowing more about your cam...lobe C/L, lift, etc. DD2k says 339 CHP And 395 ft/lbs at the crank.

it was so important that he had to say it twice... :D

So Morley when you break it down to the wheels by 20% drivetrain loss you're at 271.2 Hp/316 tq, pretty close :D

lose more then 20%. if hes running a 700r4 and low comp heads, 1.94 heads have like 72 or 76 cc chambers then hp will be pretty low. 700r4 steals like 75 -100 hp from fly wheel.
If hes running a decked block, decked heads, and high comp pistons, like 11.-1 he may have like 320 rwhp. I dont know what compression hes running now but im guessing 240 wrhp. 300 torque.
