SAFC and FPR

I read somewhere that an aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator must be installed before you can adjust your SAFC. I plan on putting in 650cc injectors and cams soon. Do I have to get an FPR before the rest of this stuff?

if you get a 255 then you will need a regualtor, but I already see you have a 255 so yes you need a regulator before you can tune
