Ok, i'm getting ready to get my d16 rebuilt. It's supercharged with a jrsc. I think i'm going for mostly stock internals, however i'm not sure about different cams, like what the advantages are to different cams for this motor. Any suggestions? Keep in mind i'm not looking for lots more power, i mainly want it reliable again, its using oil. So please no "GET A TURBO" or "MOTOR SWAP" replies. I've got $1300 to spend on this build, and i dont wanna go through the whole motor swap thing.

for a reliable motor stick with the stock cam they are stronger then most after market cam and if you up grade your cam you will need to upgrade your valve train. which can become costly. i would try to focus on the bottom end of the motor. and maybe a mild port and polish and a 5 angle valve job w/ new valves.
