I may be in the market for a new car. An RX-8 is a prime candidate. I am a fan of the handling, but the drawbacks(modest torque and rotary problems) are scaring me away. After I buy this, I will not have alot of money. How much money would I be putting into this after I buy it? I dont really drive like an a-hole but I dont always have time in the morning to warm the car up. Would this be a bad buy?

Hi @JLad10687,
If possible, just order only the newest, so 2006.
But i think, you will not have any problems with 2005.

dont do it you probally will be dissapointed like most people with it. i bought a shinka edition it was alright but didnt have any of the power they said it had. handling was great and gas mileage was alright but not an over all good car save your self the money. i paid 32,000 for mine and only kept it for 10,000 miles and sold it for what i owed and now i bought an evo paid 5,000 less and its 10 times faster more comfortable to drive and i feel like i actually got what i paid for.
