I was helping an old friend out with clearing Civic parts out from under his folk's place. Amongst assorted panals, engine/gearbox stuff, I came across a numberplate:

I instantly recognised it as the plate from my very first car:

Nothing too exciting, it was just a '73 (yes, '73 even though official records list the 1G as '74 to '79, it's ADR plate listed '73) 1170cc SBC Civic.
Learnt how to drive on it - thrashed the hell out of it and then it turned into a restoration project - unregistered, the plates must never have been handed in.
The stories that car could tell :)

Kind of prompted me to look for a few other pics of cars I've owned.
2nd car was a '74 Datsun 240K GT hardtop. 2.4 liter L series straight 6, a beast for its time.

The 240K was the predecessor to the Skyline. Fun car - we got it over 220 km/h on Castlereagh road.

My baby - "Cujo"
Originally built by a friend, then rebuilt by me - this is the one car I never forgive myself for selling - sigh

I can't find pics of the others - SLR, Scorpion, Triumph and the Celicas - plus the turbo Civic not to mention the 2G white civic and the gray and white 1Gs that were just runners :( I don't even know if I took any).
Oh well, second most recent car, the GL Civic - right after I'd sunk 3 grand into new wheels and tyres and lowered suspension.
Right before I got the SiR

If people look closely, you can see the tyre/guard clearance... or not ;)

at one stage lang also bought me a B.I.T.C.H sign to stick on the back window...
I won't tell you guys what the letters stood for :p I'm sure you have seen them....
also had a bumper sticker which read 0 - bitch in 2.5 seconds :p
that was my favourite....
along with my at one stage "dancing dog" on the dash, and my Mr Potato Head :p
