Change Oil Light

Hey, I'm new here and I just have a quick question....

My "Change Oil" light came on yesterday but my oil is just fine. What do I need to do? Just reset it even though I haven't changed my oil very recently or what??

Yes! I beleve that your light will go on at about 7,500mi regardless how dirty it is. Not a big deal.

The light doesn't depend on how many miles you've driven. It goes off of engine temp, engine revolutions, and how many start cycles you've made. If you've just recently changed your oil, I'd reset it.
