You're so not the only one who'd love some reference pictures of it!

Wow, they are hard to find. I came across two pictures on this page but they aren't much use.

http://tubistylejapan.com/FCTEVENT025.htm Actually, the page provided some interesting information. After winning the Italian GT championship in 1993, it raced as the Totip car in 1994. The car was bought by Taisan and raced in Japan in 1995 with a fairly well-known black/red Advan color scheme with the No.34. Later the car was painted back to the original Shell color, but everything else (interior / engine etc.) are still JGTC specifications. If that's true, then we have a choice of either representing the current condition with JGTC interior and shell exterior, or the original Italian GT version. Either way, it'll be hard to find photos, but it's good to know about the history of this unique car.

The following book contains several pages of close-up photos of the Monte Shell F40. If you can find it, it's a very useful reference material.

There was also a book published on the competition F40s but it is a bit hard to find now. The text is all in italian but it has many pictures of the competiotion cars from the italian GT as well as the F40LM cars. I think it was called "F40 da Corsa". You might be able to find a copy on sale online somewhere if you search for it.
