Hello Everyone,
I drive a 99 with 4X4. I have noticed that when I come to a stop I feel a thud in the rear of the vehicle. I can not figure out where the noise is originating from. I initially thought that my spare may be loose, but it is solid as a rock. Can someone help?
Thanks,
jsheffield

Try removing your driveshaft from the transmission, and greasing the splines. This trick has worked on a lot of chevy's.

We have the same truck and about 99K the rearends gave us lots of noise. Had them rebuilt under 100K warranty. If not what about rear brake drums sticking?
