01 voyager blower resistor

I just had to replace blower resistor for 2nd time in 4 months. Parts guy said blower motor may be pulling too many amps causing this to happen. Anybody else heard of this or had this problem?

Check the connector that plugs into the resistor, it may be heat stressed..replace it.
