Problem wit air inatke ?

i bought this cheap ass air inake for my car on ebay . but once i put it on i didnt get no performance out of it yeah i know wut can u get out of 25$ dollar intake but my friend has the same car a 2000 grand prix 3.8 non supercharged with the same intake but wit his u do feel a pull an a differece! and on mine it bogs down it wont throw in the gears all late !!! I already got code scanned an nothing came out so any suggestion would help ???????

I guess you get what you pay for. Was it running OK before? Check the IAT sensor and make sure it is installed properly and connector tight. Are you running with or without the throttle body screen?
