OO Transmission troubles

When I accelerate hard my car doesn't wanna shift to second or third. It eventually does but not til the revs are way past optimal. Normal driving doesn't seem to be off, except the OD doesn't kick in until the car's nice and warm. Is there an electronic timing problem or is my tranny just dying?

...an electronic timing problem ...
Sounds like electrical/electronics problem(s), dont let any shop touch tranny...
- Check charge voltage first at batt, then at Transmissin Ctrl Unit TCU
- Connectors cleanup; check http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/14 & 15
- One crucial TCU input is TPS. Check TPS is ok, (see page 6 to get general idea)
- Check all tranny electrical components, the manual has an exhaustive list: rev, temp sensors, solenoids etc
Tranny has self diagnostics, possibly points right error code (after cleanup), run. Read info & links at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/24 ...and yes, oil change every 30k miles.
