Window Problem on E36 Coupe

This problem is only with the passenger window on my 1995 E36 coupe. If I put the window up all the way it will get stuck and will not move at all. This is not all the time though because sometimes when it is working it will go all the way up then back down fine. It is only when fully up when this happens and only the passenger side. There is no set time that i have found that is will do this or release itself. When the window was working fine i would just not put it up all the way and it would be good. Do you have any suggestions or could refer me to someone? Any help would be great. Thank you

The window does not drop at all when the door opens. I believe that is the security feature of the window if I am not mistaken. Is it at all possible that it may be a relay or where the plug from the door meets the cowl? I tried swapping the window switch with the driver's side one and no luck. I wish I knew what makes the window release because I'm sure that would help some, but it may be when I hit a bump or something. Is there anything the window could catch on in the track if it came up too far? Also, is it possible to test the motor so I don't replace it then find out that it wasn't it?
