2004 Taurus Air Bag Light

I changed the radio on a 2004 Taurus, I bought one out of a 2001 and swapped the radio only and when I got it back together, the air bag light was on. The 2004 has a Passanger Air bag light on the panel right by the heater control knobs. I thought that if I only changed out the radio/cd player, this would still work. Anybody have any ideas what I can do to get this to work?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Did you disconnect the battery when you replaced the radio? On some Hondas, if you disconnect the battery, the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) light will come on due to a "low voltage" condition in the SRS circuit. I'm not aware that new Fords do this (my '98 SHO does not) but if you disconnected the battery, it may be something to look into.
Otherwise, you may need a scan tool with SRS software to determine what the SRS computer thinks the problem is.
