beats me, sometimes they make it cheaper and make you pay extra on shipping so their item will come up firt but even with shipping that kit is not bad, maybe something is not so good with it?

no i dont have an id yet but i wanna get 1, and i wanna know if all these parts are what they say they are...they all look good and its 250 for the shipping on the body kit and thats what it would run normally....i think these are some good deals

Do you ever wonder where the kits that come out of the fiberglass molds go to that have defects? They will tell you they require professional installation. Freight shipping to a residential addy shouldn't be more than $180 bucks. But i am sorry i will not pay 160 for a piece of shit. ONe of my friends bought 2 ebay kits from 2 different sellers... both were pure junk. Fiberglass was very thin and all was warped. As for Bomzracing..... I could come up with a company called Codyzracing and sell products that aren't made specifically for a car. When I buy off ebay, its for major brand names, no knock offs because majoirty of it is all junk. Pay the extra $$ and forget about the hassels. I paid $175 for a custom Stainless steel mind you CAI that was a direct fit for my car. Do what you want, its your money, i am just giving you fairwarning.

...end rant

The thing with ebay is the end users. Seller, pedding his or her product to make a profit and the buyer trying to catch a break on pricing. There are a few things to consider when buying from anyone on ebay. First, and most importaint. FEEDBACK!!! If the member has a feedback of less than 95% I don't even bother thinking about buying from them no matter if they are providing something I thought I couldn't live without. With the seller you have provided in this listing his or her feedback isn't too shabby. 98.8% thats not to bad considering they have over 3000 feedbacks. But, on the other hand their feedback is private. I personally don't like that. Because I like to contact
other buyers that have purchaced the samething I am looking to buy.
Example, I recently purchaced a cold air intake from a buyer, but I was unsure of the quality and fitment of the product, so I contacted five other buyers who purchaced the samething. Only after I got a positive review of the product I went ahead and bought it. Currently I am waiting to receive it.
Another thing to consider is location, Are they located in the us or not? Another thing to consider is the shipping cost. Some, like the example you have provided charge a flat rate for shipping, sometimes this can be a bennifit to you. If they are in cali. and your in NY the shipping charges for a body kit can become very expensive. But, if your in the same state that they are, It can appear your getting ripped off. Like CRJ said The crapy products that are rejected have to go somewere.
When it comes down to it. USE COMMON SENCE. Don't get cought up in the bidding war. Set a price limit and don't go beyond that.
A lot of sellers don't like to give refunds. Check the fine print weather they are willing to provide a refund of your money or if "all sales are final" "NO refunds"
The seller of this body kit don't mention anything about refunds. When in doubt ASK!
Don't worry about if the auction ends and you did't get your item. Chances are there will be another one in a few days.

You can get tons of good stuff on ebay. Body kits are not one of these things.

Well, I have the same bodykit from that seller. You can see it installed on the red car in that link that he has on the ebay page. I bought it from ebay and got a hell of a deal .. Got it for 200.00 and picked it up locally lucky me. Also got a set of used motegi wheels ( 15" ) for $75.00 also local pickup that would have cost me 560.00 from any local seller.

My body kit is being put on and painted as i write this. All items i have bought from ebay fit great and i have had not a problem with any of them. So in tern i would recommend that body kit even though a few above have noted not too.

Ok how most the the scam artist on ebay sell thier stuff so cheap is cause of several reasons.. 1. BOOTLEGGED 2. Refurbished 3. they will sell it supper low but jack you on the shipping. Things to watch out for... Bomex Style Body kit for 99 - 02 cavalier first off big sign saying that it isnt real would be the statment "style" then you would look at the price.. a true bomex runs roughly around 600.00 tp 800.00 depending on were you go. when they are trying to sell it on ebay for 400.00 or less there is your red flag. as far as fitment goes.. almost all companies now say that profesional installation required. the reason for this is because after a mold has been used so many times it starts to build up lyers so after a while it in turns doesnt fit the way it used to, so none the less look and see how popular the kit is and that will generaly let you know how much work its going to take to put it on. The great thing about poly urethane kits is the fitment is almost guaranteed...but the downside is that if you gouge it or tear it some how you really cant fix it and will end up replacing the whole piece...

As far as i know have fun with shipping it back to them.... you have to ship it freight and like i said thats another 180 out of your pocket.

I ordered mine through www.aplusperformance.com

$559 shipped to residential addy. I trust this seller more than half the ppl online. While the kit was on backorder for sometime, it shipped out last week and it should arrive sometime this week. If anything is wrong, Jason @ Aplus will correct the problem to make it right.

Like everybody's been saying. The shipping can be the biggest factor.

My buddy used to sell items for like a penny and then hit them on the shipping

I've been waiting for a set of 205/55r16 tires for my factory z-24 rims and I have never found a set that is local, for pick up purposes. It seems to always be the same seller from Houston, with a couple hundred for shipping..

Thats the worst part about ebay...
