My driver's side window went down while I was at work and will not go up. I think the regulator is out. How difficult is it to change?

Here is a procedure which will give you an idea of the work involved. It is for a Grand Prix but the Regal is similar. The major difference is getting the door panel off to expose the window motor & regulator assembly. On the Regal at the door handle you'll need to remove the single screw. Then at the door grip handle there is a small plastic cover. Remove cover and it will expose two screws that need to be removed. After that you'll need to pull on the edges of the door panel to get the plastic push on clips out. There is a door panel removal tool available to make the job easier. I was able to remove mine without the tool but it would be a good idea to get some new replacement plastic push clips. Once panel looks free all you do is lift up and then pull out. See link below:

Goods info and link, thanks. I have a question. How difficult is it to get the regultor out too? I have a '97 Regal GS with 109753 miles. The front RT reg/motor is gone and the rear LT.

Sorry for bumping this older post.

No problem but I am going to start a new thread for you. You should get responses there and it will give higher visibility. But I'll have to close this thread.
