im looking into purchasing a 96 civic coupe....it was recently in a wreck and has major damage to the left rear side...trunk, left rear fender, rear bumber, tail light...BUT!!! here is the issue the wheel on that side is tweaked...i was wondering if it was even repairable?...do you think it bent anything that i would be unable to fix?....the only thing im concerned about is all 4 wheels, and if there straight...i can replace the bumber and body...can someone give me some tips on what to look for if the chassis is bent?..or whatever i should be looking for...
btw they want only a little over 1k for it...is this a fair price...considering the car is otherwise in mint condition?

You can probably buy a decent 96 EX for about $3K. It will cost more than $2k to fix the bumper, body, suspension, paint and etc. Also who knows, there might be frame damage. I say bad deal.

It shouldnt be a prob, me and my brother deal in wreck rebuilds...We just pulled in a 97 dx coupe cremed in the rear right side, done got it all pulled out and all...have a total of 400 in the car...

also done a 95 integra with 90k hit in rear pretty good and have a total of 1200 in it...

It just depends if you know what your doing, if the rear wheels are slanted a little bit id say a rear control arm or something could be bent...

Dont mess with it if the rear fender wells are going into the wheels tough...

I wouldnt give over 5-700 for the car unless its light with low ass miles...Thats all they sell for in auctions we go to...Most of them are modded also...
